• Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing for MOEE accompanied by responsible persons arrived to Chauk Oil Field, Chauk Township, Magway Region on 25-1-2019 in the afternoon.
• Union Minister instructed to strive harmoniously knowing duty for State development. As Oil and Gas Sector takes a vital role for Country development, it is needed to strive for further enhancing exploration, excavation and production as well as to obey in accordance with Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and to take care in work and to reduce waste.
• Union Minister and Chief Minister of Magway Region accompanied by responsible persons reached at Myaing exploration well No.(1) which is going to drill by Rig ZJ 70L SR-1 on 26-1-2019. The plans of drilling were explained by Deputy Managing Director, Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise and the additional explanation was made by Managing Director, Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise.
• And then Union Minister started to drill Myaing exploration well No.(1) by switching on and Union Minister and Chief Minister gave fruits basket to the Drilling Rig persons as present and took the time for a commemorative group photo section.
• MOEE has performed Geological Field Seismic and Geophysics Seismic Survey in 2016-2017 financial year based on previous seismic data for Myaing exploration well No(1).
• As per survey, it will be drilled up to depth (8500)feets by using ZJ 70L SR-1 and will lay down future plans depending on test results.
• Union Minister and his members reached at Chauk Oil Field oil well No.(1196) in the afternoon. Field General Manager and responsible persons explained about drill well No.(1196) and new well No.(1213) regarding petroleum enhancement production.
• And then, Union Minister instructed the needs and gave commemorate money and fruits basket.
• At 25-12-2018, well No (1196) was made gun fire. It is producing crude oil (122) barrels daily. At 3-1-2019, well No (1213) was started to drill. It is in depth (4150) feet at 19-1-2019 and produced crude oil (190) barrels.
• Union Minister and party arrived to Chauk Oil Field Hospital and inspected around the campus.
• And then, at Chauk Oil Field Guest, Officials of Goldpetrol JOC Inc. Co., ltd. which is cooperating with MOGE explained about process for increasing products to Union Minister and party. Union Minister instructed to fully implement the processes according to time frame, to implement environment social works and to fully serve staffs affair.
• At Chauk Field, crude oil over (300) barrels are increasing from totally well (111) Nos due to expanded the old well and excavated the new well.  Now there is producing Crude Oil (1700) barrels and Natural Gas (0.045) Million cubic feet per day. Furthermore, we know that MOEE is trying to increase oil and gas by using water injection method there.
