Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing and Departmental heads arrived at Magway Region Government Office, on 17^th May, 2019 in the evening and discussed with Chief Minister and Government Ministers for Magway Region about the cooperation in electricity and energy sectors which would be implemented in Magway Regions.

In this discussion, Union Minister said the meeting is made to get suggestion so that Ministry of Electricity and Energy can support for development in Magway Region, Hand dug Well Exploration has been allowed for getting energy security and business opportunities within Magway Region, To perform them the specific laws have beenneeded, To perform carefully avoid environmental impact and plan is needed about hand dug well business, For state and local as well as operators will benefit by performing as official business, Viabenefit is to perform, The emerge of crude oil from well systematically crude to build mini refinery factory in the region has been processed, Similarly the usage villagers of fuel oil can be conveniently buy from the public to allow license in Petroleum Product Distribution, Petrol and Petroleum Products will be increased soon during the period, To distribute moreelectricity distribution has been peformed by the ministry to the whole country from 2016 to 2018 and can produce 746 MW from a variety of energy resources, the usage of natural gas power plant has been performed from the beginning of 2018 April in the previous of using only household meter, they had the right to use any meter from the public, For the use of 24 hour power extensions from the electric consumer 34% to 45% and to increase the totally towns 68 Nos during the 3 years period and the totally villages 5190 Nos

had been performed in 2016, the electric consumer of the whole country had been processedto fulfill 50 % in Dec 2019, To get stable electric power is performing the used of electric consumerfrom the government as well as for those the use of electric consumer is processed to balance, the electric consumer of the whole country to 55 % in 2021 and that of 75% in 2025 - 2026, To use the national electricity consumptionin 2030 and the condition of electrical quality had got within the 2 year period and significantly used household electrical appliances which increased the consumers of air-conditioner.

In this condition, the unique hot weather had managed the electricity consumption of the above factors that previously expected in April, 2019 and the additional demand of 400 MW in the country, According to 2020 calculation increased by 688 MW as next year spending to progress in order to give power to the people which must be 500 MW to be fulfill short time the requirement has been performed from Union Minister said.

And then, Magway Chief Minister Dr. Aung Moe Nyo discussed about the cooperation of electricity and energy issues will continue to work on the plan within the region.

Next, Departmental Heads explained the electricity and energy sector servicing business plan from Ministry of Electricity and Energy with the power points in the Magway Region.

Then, Magway Region Minister for Resources, Environmental, Electricity and Energy Minister U Myint Zaw explained about the rural power planning issues and Deputy Minister for Electricity and Energy Dr. Tun Naing fulfilling explained. On explanation, Union Minister performed of the necessary coordination.

Union Minister and his companions arrived to Minbu Solar Plant at Minbu Township on 18^th May, 2019 in the morning, from Electricity Power Generating Enterprise Managing Director U Khin Maung Win and the officials of Green Earth Power (Myanmar) Co.,Ltdhave explained in the explanation hall to perform the conditions of project andinspected Union Minister has been instructed in the power plant project.

          Minbu Solar Power Plant has located beside Minbu-Ann road, southeast of Minbu Township far away 16.3 miles  from Minbu Township , Magway Region on Feb ,2018 it had been constructed with B.O.T system from Green Earth Power (Myanmar) Co.,Ltd and  installed capacity 170 MW will be constructed by step four project and will construct 40 MW each from step one to step four and  the step four will be constructed by 50 MW. Solar Power Plant is now the first to start construction project in Myanmar, the first step is completed 92 % and will produce 20 MW soon connecting to the National grid and distribute.
