                    Union Minister for Electricity and Energy, H.E. U Win Khaing, received Chinese Ambassador Mr. Chen Hai on August 8, 2019 (10:00) am at Guests Hall, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Office (27).

          During the meeting, The Union Minister expressed that he was glad and proud of him to be appointed as Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar. During his era, H.E. hopes to be able to enhance cooperation in power and energy sector Myanmar is joining hands in China's BRI (Belt and Road Initiative Project). In these Project, the electricity and energy is playing an important role.

          The Ambassador expressed words of thanks for the discussions and he will take part in Myanmar country's electricity and energy infrastructure works in his best.

          The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent secretary U Tin Maung Oo, departmental heads and personal concerns form the Chinese embassy.
