The ceremony of donating DCS (Distributed Control System) Plant Model Technology and related equipment by Yokogawa Electric Corporation Japan Company, partner company of SMART Measurement & Control Co.,Ltd which is national-owned local company cooperating with Ministry of Electricity and Energy was held on 26th November, 2019 at 10:30 AM at meeting hall, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, office 27, Nay Pyi Taw.
In this ceremony, Deputy Ministers for Ministry of Electricity and Energy Dr. Tun Naing (Energy) and U Khin Maung Win (Electricity), departmental heads, Ambassador of the Embassy of Thailand in Myanmar H.E. Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Deputy Managing Director and Mr. KoJi Komatsu from Yokogawa Engineering Asia Pte.Ltd, Managing Director Mr. Prechai Trannitad and Chief Representative Officer Mr. Niwat Weeragul from ၊ Yokogawa (Thailand) Ltd., Chairman U Kyaw Kyaw Hlaing from SMART Group of Co.,Ltd and responsible persons were attended.
Firstly, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing gave a speech of thanks and Deputy Managing Director Mr. KoJi Komatsu from Yokogawa Engineering Asia Pte.Ltd and Chief Representative Officer Mr. Niwat Weeragul from Yokogawa (Thailand) Ltd. explained the plans for donation.
Then, Mr.Prechai Trannitad, Managing Director for Yokogawa (Thailand) Ltd. gave the documents related with the donation, Director General U Than Zaw from Oil and Gas Planning Department received and gave back the honoring certificate. And then, Deputy Ministers and responsible persons observed the DCS Plant Model Technologies and instruments.
In this ceremony, Yokogawa Electric Corporation Japan Company and SMART Measurement & Control Co., Ltd., partner Company of this donated the DCS Plant Model technologies assistants supported for career skill which is worth about $ 150,000 and the related training to be used these equipment. DCS is the simulation Process Plant which is computerized control system. The complete range of flow meters, the pressure transmitters, the differential pressure transmitters, the temperature transmitters, the level transmitters and the process analyzers can be widely used in the oil and gas sectors, chemical sectors, the paper production, the electricity sector, the steel and industry sector. This donation aims to fulfill the knowledge and technology about the industrial automation usefully.
