Deputy Minister(Energy) Dr. Tun Naing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy accompanied by responsible persons inspected Phuo Kyi Pipe Station in Hmaw Bi Township, Yangon Region under Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise and Fertilizer Factory No. (4) (Myaung Ta Kar) under Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise on 21st November, 2019.
Firstly, Deputy Minister (Energy)and his team arrived in Phuo Kyi Pipe Line Station, Hmaw Bi Township and Chief Engineer (Pipe Line) presented Pipe Line network status in Myanmar constructed by MOGE and Phuo Kyi Pipe Line engineer in-charge explained about the completion of pipe line projects for 2018-2019 fiscal year, ongoing pipe line projects and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) works for 2019-2020 fiscal year. On their explanation, Managing Director U Myo Myint Oo also explained in brief.
On above explanations, Deputy Minister (Energy) gave instructions that,
Phuo Kyi Pipe station situated near Phuo Kyi village, Hmaw Bi Township, Yangon Region, that send crude oil from Man Oil Field and Htauk- Shar - Pin Oil Field in Minbu township to Than Lyin Refinery, Yangon Region. In previously, it was situated mainly for pipe line repair works. At that time, Phuo Kyi Pipe Station is the base camp only for lower Myanmar gas pipe line repair work.
Under the supervision of this camp, there are Shwe Pyi Thar station(Yangon), Day-De-Ye Station, Thana-Pin station, Mawlamyine Station, Thanphyu zeyat Station and Yae Station. The purpose of these camp is to repair for 20 inches Kanpauk – Myaingkalay – Yangon Pipe Line (331 mile) and 24 inches Daw Nyein – Ywama Pipe Line (86 miles), totally (981 miles).
Later, Deputy Minister (Energy) and his team arrived Fertilizer Factory No. (4) (Myaung- Ta-kar), Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise, factory mangar presented Urea Fertilizer production status, ongoing working process and U Aung Myint , Managing Director for Myanma petrochemical Enterprise explained in brief. On their explanation, Deputy Minister (Energy) gave instructions that,
Deputy Minister (Energy) inspected operating process with Distributed Control system (DCS) in Central Control Room of these factory.
Fertilizer factory No 4 (Myanung ta kar) is situated in Myaung ta kar Village, Hmaw- Bi township, Yangon Region and started operation in 5th December, 2010. It was used natural gas produced from Aphaut and Nyaungtone Oil field and produced 350~400 ton/ day urea fertilizer distributed by tendering process. At that time, there were planning to be more production of urea fertilizer that would be needed in agriculture sector.
