H.E. Deputy Minister U Khin Maung Win (Electricity) for MOEE received Mr. Seth, Chief Executive Officer of Yoma Mandalay Energy Co., Ltd and his delegation at the Meeting Room of Office No. (27), Ministry of Electricity and Energy on 2nd December, 2019 at (14:10) hr.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed about the progress of Rural Solar Project implemental by Yoma Mandalay Energy Co., Ltd and Rural Area Department, proposal for Roof-top solar 20 to 30 MW, selling additional electricity to national grid and submitting official letter to MOEE, current status of tender invitation for Isolated Solar grid in Coco Island at the end of 2019-2020 fiscal year which is inviting tender by Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation, surveying and data collection for smart metering and technical and policy affairs for floating solar.
The meeting was also attended by Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo and department heads as well as officials from Yoma Mandalay Energy Co., Ltd .
