          Dr. Tun Naing , Deputy Minister for MOEE accompanied by responsible person inspected 230kV Shwe Sar Yan Substation which located in Patheingyi Township, Mandalay Region and ASEAN Oil and Gas Pipeline Control Station (Mandalay) which located milestone no. (363/4) of Yangon. Mandalay Highway at 5^th Oct 2019.

          Firstly, Deputy Minister and companion arrived 230kV Shwe Sar Yan Substation of DPTSC. Substation’s manager explained the status of substation and the upgrading work of 230 /33/11 kV 1000 MVA Transformer. Deputy Minister instructed to complete the work in time, to be safe and stable of voltage, to decrease losses and to emphasize safety first in site .Then he inspected around the Substation.

         And then Deputy Minister and companion arrived Oil and Gas Pipeline Control Station (Mandalay) which implementing MOGE with JVA located at the Yangon-Mandalay highway milestone no. (363/4). Responsible Person from the Control Station explained the current and previous status and U Nyan Tun, Deputy Managing Director added the requirements .Deputy Minister instructed that-

• to take continuous assessment of pipe Line in order to be Sustainable.
• to give knowledge for do and don’t items of Pipelines widely
• to hang on the warning sign and note  at visible places.

          Deputy Minister and companion inspected at the Control Centre, photo gallery, athletic club, bed –rooms and dining rooms.

       South East Asia Oil and Gas Pipeline have 771 km 32" crude Oil Pipeline and 793 km 40" of natural gas crossing from Ma Dae Island: Rakhine State to Magwe Region, Mandalay Region and Shan State. This Pipeline supply about 1600 metric ton of crude oil and 400 mmcfd of natural gas daily out 100 mmcfd use for domestic. The Technician from this Control Station performs inspection of operation along pipeline with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System for 24 Hrs in order to operate sustainable and stability.
