      U Khin Maung Win, Deputy Minister (Electricity) for Ministry of Electricity and Energy met the delegation led by Mr.Bui Duy Thanh, Principal Energy Economic from Asia Development Bank (ADB) on 5^th December, 2019 in meeting room of Office No.27, MOEE, Nay Pyi Taw.

      In this meeting, they discussed the proposal of scale up Solar Power Generation, government investment to distribute electricity to ASEAN countries from Solar to Power Projects with low tariff rate, to perform grid study, site selection, power development for ADB’s projects according to financial and technical, the sectors for evacuation facilities, storage for Solar PV Project by private investment, issues for Independent Power Producer (IPP) Projects to be able to participate by private, the electrified areas to be able to improve in 2020-2022 provided by ADB’s budget.

      In this meeting, U Tin Maung Oo, Permanent Secretary for MOEE, departmental heads and the responsible persons from Asia Development Bank (ADB) were presented.
