The Coordination Meeting Concerning with Preparation State for Continuous

Power Supply in B.E.H.S Examination Period

          The Coordination Meeting Concerning with Preparation State for Continuous Power Supply during the Basic Education High School (B.E.H.S) Examination period was held on 16^th February, 2018 (08:30) hr at the Meeting Room of Ministry of Electricity & Energy, Office No.(27), Nay Pyi Taw.

          H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, Director Generals, Managing Directors, Departmental Heads of Ministry of Electricity & Energy, Divisional Engineers from respective States/ Regions and responsible persons were attended to the meeting.

          First, H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing said that the duration of B.E.H.S Examination is very important for Myanmar Students. So, Ministry of Electricity & Energy (MOEE) has to manage carefully the electricity distribution and maintenance of Transmission Line since pre-examination period. Next, Union Minister said that if there is a shortage of power supply in anywhere unexpectedly, MOEE needs to arrange reserve generators. It means solving unexpected problems by ways of thinking and ways of approaching. And then, H.E. Union Minister pointed out that MOEE needs to negotiate with related Ministries for security of Transmission Lines and Sub-stations.

          Next, Department of Electric Power Transmission and Control System, Electricity Supply Enterprise, Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation and Mandalay Electricity Supply Corporation presented and explained the situations of their preparation for continuous power supply during B.E.H.S Examination. Then, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing discussed on their explanation for continuous power supply. Later, Union Minister said that MOEE also has to perform continuous power supply in early morning during pre-examination period and to inform and negotiate with State/ Region Ministers and Economic Zones for performance of MOEE’s activities.
