H. E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE inspects the works undertaking by Elite Petrochemical Co., Ltd and LPG Terminal in Yangon Region

          H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE accompanied by Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, Departmental Heads and responsible persons arrived to No (1) Refinery (Thanlyin), Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise (MPE) on 28th April 2018 in the morning.

          At the refinery Guest- house, the situations of promoting Filling Station Level, installing Rollers, the modification of LPG Pipelines, constructing new Filling Station and arranging plans to enhance production by installation new Filling Machines, extending the LPG distribution by purchasing new cylinders, installing fire extinguishers and the status of marketing point of view for performance the LPG import, storage, distribution and sales were reported by Parami Energy Services Co.,Ltd. Then, Union Minister instructed on the needs.

          And then, at the refinery training hall, General Manager explained the status of refinery’s history and production , performing the security and fire safety, LPG Storage Tanks and capacity , 2017-2018 Financial Year, first(6) months loss and gain, foreign loan payment, analysis on gasoline, diesel, ATF, machine oil lubricant, natural gas, crude oil, condensate, water sample, reformed diesel and LPG. The additional explanation was made by Deputy Minister and Managing Director, MPE.

          In future, “ to manage for production of high qualified petroleum so that to meet the market requirement , to cooperate with international companies serving high petrochemical complex, to make serious on work safety and to get high expertise  of services personnel, to perform maintenance of State - Owned Refinery materials systematically, to strive for run of refinery” were instructed by Union Minister .

          In the afternoon, Union Minister and his companions arrived to block No. 15/16 (A/B) of Myanma Port Authority, Thilawa Port, LPG Project.

          In the meeting, the status of LPG Storage Tanks (3,000) tons constructing as the first phase of project and completed Fuel Terminal available for LPG (20,000) tons were explained by responsible persons. The Union Minister instructed on the needs and inspected the LPG Terminal and Storage Tanks.

          As the second phase project, LPG Storage Tanks (25,000) tons will be built and completed LPG Storage Tanks were being tested by Elite Petrochemical Co., Ltd. on 8-4-2018 purchasing 2,000 tons LPG .
