• The Closing Ceremony of Upgrading Training for Engineers No.(1/2018) at Ministry of Electricity and Energy was held at Yadanar Hall, Office No.(27), Ministry of Electricity and Energy on 22 ^nd June, 2018 in (09:00)Am.
• In this Ceremony, Union Minister U Win Khaing, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, Chairmen, Director Generals and Managing Directors, Departmental Heads, Instructors and Trainees from Departments, Enterprises and Corporations were presented.
• Firstly, Union Minister delivered that the aim for opening this Training is to emerge qualified new Generation Engineers for implementation in Electric Sector and the expected qualified Control Operators for Power Plant,        Transmission Line, Substation Construction and distribution work.
• In this Training, (4) Subjects for Generation Engineers, (13) Subjects for Transmission and Distribution and (1) Subject for Civil, Totally (18) Subjects were instructed.
• The experts from external organization such as Siemens, GE, UREC, Hendrix, YOUNG IN and ALPHA POWER Co., Ltd were discussed.
• Union Minister said that the topics of the Engineering Ethic to be good      engineering servant and then Chairman of   Engineering Council was instructed the   Engineering Ethic. Moreover, working experiences and knowledges were discussed  by Deputy Minister.
• Not only lesson but also field study of site visit in Myingyan Gas Engine Power  Plant, Sembcorb CCGT Power Plant, Yenwe and Paung Laung Hydropower Plants, 230 kV Shwe Myo and Nay Pyi Taw(2) Substations were      instructed.
• Then Deputy Minister pointed out that  Trainees apply the experiences from the training when finishing the training period and serving their workplace and urged.

- to continuously study the techniques. Instructed subjects are utilized not only current position but also higher position.

- to be responsible on their duty and study continuously for development of their own life.

- to take responsibility in accordance with servant discipline and try to emerge trusty servant with morals, attitudes and knowledges for State & Ministry.

• And then, three outstanding Trainees presented on maintenance of Power Line, Steps for Power Generation and Danger of Electricity with power point Presentation.
• Union Minister awarded the prizes to the outstanding trainees and Deputy Minister awarded certificates of honour to the instructors and training certificates to the Trainees.
•  Union Minister took photo together with Deputy Minister, Permanent Secretary, Chairmen, Director Generals and Managing Directors, Departmental Heads, Instructors and Trainees.
