          H.E. Dr. Tun Naing, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Electricity and Energy inspected arrival of Gas Engines, installed capacity 18 MW, (8) Nos which were built at Wartsila Company, Italy, for Gas Engine Power Plant, installed capacity 145 MW, that will be implemented by Powergen Kyaukse Company Limited at 230 kV Belin Substation, Kyaukse, Mandalay Region from Trieste Port, Italy, to Alone International Port, Yangon, on September (1), 2018.

          Responsible persons from Powergen Kyaukse Company Limited explained about the status of arrival of Gas Engines (8) Nos and moving onto barge to transport Gas Engines from Alone International Port, Yangon, to Shwe Kyakyak, Mandalay. And then, H.E. Dr. Tun Naing delivered that it is very important to be safety while transporting, to arrive appliances for this project in time and to be started this project immediately.

          Ministry of Electricity and Energy has issued Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to Powergen Kyaukse Company Limited on May (7), 2018.  From that date, company started to implement and the project area has been cleaned at current following by civil works for building to situate Gas Engines. After implementing this Gas Engine, installed capacity 145 MW, it will be available to supply and consume electricity more and more in Mandalay Region.
