          H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE received H.E. Mr. Shahidul Islan, BIMETEC Secretary General and his delegation at (15:00) pm on 6^th November, 2018 at Office No (27), MOEE in Nay Pyi Taw.

          During the meeting, they discussed about fund and natural gas of BIMSTEC Energy Centre (BEC) and the case on finding means and ways in order to solve planning and management and to overcome difficulties in accord with   Memorandum of Understanding among related nations together with the BIMSTEC Grid Interconnection Committee (BGICC) as a focal Country, Myanmar, in Energy Sector.

          And then, Union Minister also received H.E. Mr. Christian LECHFRVY, Ambassador of France to Myanmar. Union Minister congratulated for assigning as Ambassador of France to Myanmar. After that, they discussed not only politics of bilateral relations and cooperation but also economy, technology and investment of electricity and energy sector and development of human resources among two countries.

          H.E. Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing and Departmental Heads also attended to these meetings.
