Dr Htun Naing, Deputy Minister (Energy) inspected Projects from Energy Sector which are located in Kayin State and Mon State.

          Dr Htun Naing , Deputy Minister (Energy) for Ministry of Electricity and Energy accompanied by responsible person inspected at  Gas Control Stations located in Myaing Ka Lay , Kayin State and Tha Hton , Mawlamyine , Mon State . He also inspected the pipelines maintenance camp (Thwe Thauk) at 8th Nov 2019.

          Firstly Deputy Minister and parties arrived Myaing Ka Lay Gas Control Station and responsible person from MOGE explained the state of gas distribution. Deputy Minister instructed to perform land acquisition for camp and inspected around the Gas Control Station.

          And then Deputy Minister and parities inspected at Gas Control Stations which is located in Thaton, Mon State and also inspected the pipelines maintenance camp (Thwe Thauk) . Responsible person from MOGE explained the status of gas distribution and performance of pipelines maintenance. Deputy Minister instructed to take continuous assessment of pipe lines and to do the maintenance rapidly if failure or cracks occured. Deputy Minister also instructed to take specified plan for local people free from any danger and to perform the fire drill if something happen because of fire.

          Myaing Ka Lay Gas Control Station is supplying about 17 mmcfd from Zawtika Offshore to Myaing Ga Lay Cement Factories and about 20 mmcfd to factories which are located in Yangon Area. Thaton Gas Control Station is re-controlling Zawtika Gas which is supplied from Myaing Ka Lay Gas Control Station and is supplying about 20 mmcfd per day to Gas Turbines which are located in Thaton.

          Mawlamyine Gas Control Station is supplying about 36.5 mmcfd gas per day from Zawtika Offshore to Gas Turbines which are located in Mawlamyine.

          Mawlamyine Pipeline Maintenance Camp (Thwe Thauk) is performing maintenance of 192 miles of Kanpauk-Myaingkalay - Yangon Pipe Line (20 ") which is supplying gas from Kan Pauk, Tanintaryi Region to Myaing Ka Lay Maintenance Camp.
