     Opening Ceremonies of WarBaLaukThauk Substation in Kawhmu Township and Letkhokkon-Poeyinsu Substation in Township implementation by YESC, MOEE was held on December 7, 2019.

        It was also attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Minn Thein, the Region Parliament Speaker in Yangon U Tin Maung Htun, Deputy Speaker U Linn Naing Myint, Yangon Region Deputy Minister (Electricity) of Electricity and Energy (U Khin Maung Win), Yangon Region Deputy Attorney General (U Win Myint), Region Cabinet Ministries, Representatives from Pyithu Hluttaw, Amyotha Hluttaw and Region Hluttaw, Departmental heads, the invited Guests and Local People.

          Firstly, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Minn Thein spoke opening remark for 33/11 kV, 5 MVA WarBaLaukThauk Substation and Letkhokkon-Poeyinsu Substation to distribute the electricity to the villages in Kawhmu Township.

      Next, Deputy Minister (Electricity) of Electricity and Energy U Khin Maung Win gave a speech that advantage of opening those substations and the current situation of electricity sector in MOEE.

        And then, Representative from Pyithu Hluttaw for Kawhmu Township U Kyaw Swe Win and the elder of village in Letkhokkon city U Myint Than ​ spoke words of thanks on behalf of the local people.

       After that, the Region Parliament Deputy Speaker U Linn Naing Myint, Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint, Region Minister of Electricity, Industry and Transportation Daw Nilar Kyaw, Representative from Pyithu Hluttaw U Kyaw Swe Win, Representative from No (1) Region Hluttaw Daw Thandar Aye, Representative from No (2) Region Hluttaw U Zaw Min Aung cut the ceremonial ribbon of the Signboard for 33/11 kV WarBaLaukThauk Substation and took the photo session.

       Continuously, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Minn Thein, Deputy Minister (Electricity) of Electricity and Energy U Khin Maung Win and the Region Parliament Speaker in Yangon U Tin Maung Htun unveil the commemorative inscription tablet for 33/11 kV WarBaLaukThauk Substation and sprinkled scented water on them.

        And then, the Region Parliament Deputy Speaker U Linn Naing Myint, Region Minister of Electricity, Industry and Transportation Daw Nilar Kyaw, Representative from Pyithu Hluttaw U Soe Thura Htun, Representative from Amyotha Hluttaw U Kyaw Htwe, Representative from No. (1) Region Hluttaw U Mann Aung Ko Min and Representative from No. (2) Region Hluttaw U Aung Min Min cut the ceremonial ribbon of the Signboard and Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Minn Thein, Deputy Minister (Electricity) of Electricity and Energy U Khin Maung Win and the Region Parliament Speaker in Yangon U Tin Maung Htun unveil the commemorative inscription for 33/11 kV Letkhokkon-Poeyinsu Substation and sprinkled scented water on them.
