Union Minister U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing and departmental heads arrived at Rakhine State Government Office, Sittwe on 2^nd Apirl, 2018 in the morning and discussed with Chief Minister and Ministers for Rakhine State about the cooperation in electricity and energy sectors which would be implemented in Rakhine State .

        Chief Minister asked for the condition of  Tha Htay Hydropower Project construction work ,the status of Lemro Hydropower Project construction , electrical distrubition status for surrounding area near Kyain Chaung Village in Maungdaw Township conducting by Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the current condition of 66kV Kyaukphyu-Madie transmission line and Substation construction , performance of electrification work for Marnaung island which is unelectrified by National Grid.Union Minister  U Win Khaing explained on the quations.

        Union Minister and his companions arrived to meeting hall of state electrical manager office, Rakhine State. In meeting room, Division engineers explained on power consumption per each district, load conditions used by 66 /11 kV& 33/11 kV Substation, arrangement of reducing current losses and the future plan .Managing Director, Electricity Supply Enterprise added to and Deputy Minister instructed to take care needs of work and gave acclamation marks to 19 staffs who     valiantly serviced  in Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships.

        After that,Union Minister and his companions arrived to aviation turbine fuel distribution branch (Sittwe Airport).The responsible persons presented about the transportation and distribution of iation turbine  fuel. Union Minister instructed to fill aviation turbine fuel safely, to fulfill according to standard quality, to strengthen and handle systematically the machineries used in airport. Union Minister and his companions arrived to 66/11kV, 20 MVA Sittwe Electrical Substation, the responsible persons explained on receiving electricity in control room, load condition and electricity distribution by 11 kV lines.On his explanation, Union Minister instructed to fulfill electricity supply in Sittwe, to get reliable voltage , to take care for safety about the electricity hazard for public usage, to arrange development plan, to extend the Substation and inspected the Switch Yard.
