H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE discussed with H.E. Mr. Ichiro MARUYAMA, Japan Ambassador for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, for enhancing cooperation in Electricity and Energy Sector between the two countries at Minister”s  Parlour, Nay Pyi Taw, in the afternoon.  

                Ambassador told that he would strive for enhancing cooperation in electricity and energy sector between the two countries and it is the first meet for him to MOEE after having duty as Ambassador for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

                Union Minister discussed that MOEE will enhance cooperation with international companies from Japan to develop the electricity sector of Myanmar, warmly welcome for the first meet to MOEE, is striving for fulfill implement of projects having financial aid from Japan and cooperation between Myanmar and Japan has been many years.

                In this meeting, H.E. Dr. Tun Naing, Deputy Minister for MOEE, U Tin Maung Oo, Permanent Secretary and departmental heads were presented.
