          H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE accompanied by Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Magway region Minister U Myint Zaw for Natural Resource, Environmental, Electricity and Energy and responsible persons arrived to Thagyitaung-Sapal oil field in Pakokku township under Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise on 1^st July 2018 in the morning. In briefing hall, responsible person presented the performance on oil field such as -

- the status for increment  of crude oil & natural gas production

- the situation of searching crude oil and performing development works

- the current situation and planning of corporate social responsibility work   (CSR)

          Union Minister was briefed up by Managing Director of  Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise. On this presentation, Union Minister gave instructions needed like that -

• to be careful about safety
• to be prevented fire hazard
• to conduct at least Environmental and Social impact
• to perform to enhance crude oil production.

          Thagyitaung/Sapal oil field is existing in the Pakokku township, Magway region and this oil field produces crude oil 119 bbl/day and natural gas 2.498 mcfd from 20 wells and the project plan is systematically drawn so that to be continuously produce oil and gas.

          And then, Union Minister and his companion arrived to Kyunchaung Gas Power Plant under Electric Power Generation Enterprise. Plant manager presented salient features, generation process, fiscal year production and distribution status of power plant, machine control and data for relevant plan. And then, Deputy Minister and Managing Director (Electric Power Generation Enterprise) have additionally briefed up. On this presentation, Union Minister gave instruction to be established for sustainable strong of machine in long term, to prevent electrical shortage and clear danger of electricity. Union Minister and his companion inspected work performance and distribution connect with national grid in control room, turbine room and switchyard.

          Kyunchaung Gas Power Plant is situated in Pakokku township, Magway region. For plant & factorie in the west part of Ayeyarwaddy division, it wasestablished in 1972 and finished in 1974 to contribute the necessary power, by using the gas from Ayardaw, kyaukkhwet, Latpanto, Thagyitaung-Sapal oil fields. Kind of generation machines in this plant were Frame 5 Gas Turbine (3x18.1 MW, totally 54.3MW) which is produced by JOHN BROWN Co.,Ltd. This plant is the first building of Gas turbine for distribution in Myanmar.

          While Union Minister and his companion arrived Kyunchaung fertilizer plant, factory manager presented history of factory and produced status of Urea fertilizer, maintenance of materials. Managing Director (Myanmar Pectrochemical Enterprise) additionally explained in meeting room. Union Minister instructed that to maintain factory and materials as well as future plan. And then Union Minister inspected control room, Amonia Plant and Urea Plant in the factory.
