The opening and handover ceremony of 3 RC new school (210'x30'x36') that donated by Southeast Asia Crude Oil Pipeline Project, the joint venture of Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise under Ministry of Electricity and Energy was held on 7 September at No. 3, Basic Education High School, Pyinmana, Nay Pyi Taw Council.
The ceremony was attended by Union Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing, Union Minister for Ministry of Education Dr. Myo Thein Gyi, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Myo Aung, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy Dr. Tun Naing, Hluttaw representatives, departmental heads, the Chairman of Southeast Asia Crude Oil Pipeline Project and officials, guests, teachers and students from No. 3, B.E.H.S, Pyinmana.
First of all, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy Dr. Tun Naing, Nay Pyi Taw Educational In-charge U Tin Tun, Pyithu Hluttaw representative U Than Soe Aung, Director General for Department of Basic Education and the Chairman of Southeast Asia Crude Oil Pipeline Project cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the 3 RC new school.
Next, Union Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing, Union Minister for Ministry of Education Dr. Myo Thein Gyi and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Myo Aung clicked the plaque and sprayed perfume syrup.
And then, Union Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing and Union Minister for Ministry of Education Dr. Myo Thein Gyi delivered the speeches concerned with the donation of the 3 RC new school as the second part of ceremonial plan held in the assembly hall.
After that, when the Chairman of Southeast Asia Crude Oil Pipeline Project explained about the donation of the 3 RC new school and transferred documents of school to the Headmistress, she accepted and presented an Honoring certificate.
In addition, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy Dr. Tun Naing donated fund Ks. 30 lakh for maintaining the building to the Headmistress. The Headmistress presented an Honoring certificate and Pyinmana Township Educational Officer expressed words of thanks.
Following this, when the students from No. 3, B.E.H.S, Pyinmana entertained dancing with music and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Myo Aung presented flower bouquet and rewarded them. Union Ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and guests then observed the new building.
The 3 RC new school donated in No. 3, Basic Education High School, Pyinmana, in Nay Pyi Taw Council was built by Southeast Asia Crude Oil Pipeline Project, the joint venture of Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise under Ministry of Electricity and Energy as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The building is 3 RC type (210'x30'x36') and includes 15 classrooms (30'x24'x12') and a lecture room (90'x24'x12'). There are 210 pairs of student tables and chairs, 15 pairs of teacher tables and chairs and 15 pairs of whiteboards. The cost of it was Ks. 3960 lakh.
Ministry of Electricity and Energy has been conducted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in collaboration with Southeast Asia Crude Oil Pipeline Project at townships and villages along the pipeline areas annually since 2012. In Rakhine State, Magway Region, Mandalay Region and Shan State where the pipeline route goes through, 87 tasks, Ks. 11,543.28 lakh and US $ 3,915,368.78 in education sector, 29 tasks and US $ 951,976.54 in health sector, 22 tasks, Ks. 2,116.00 lakh and US $ 11,575,740.00 in infrastructure sector and 22 tasks, Ks. 3,174.17 lakh and US $ 19,9721.00 in general and emergency sector were implemented. In addition, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities are going to implement in the areas where the pipeline passing through in 2018.
