H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE accompanied by Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Ayeyawady Region Minister U Win Htay for Electricity, Industry and Transport and responsible persons inspected 230 kV Main Substation in Kangyidauk Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region under DPTSC on 17th Nov, 2018 in the afternoon.
Firstly, Executive Engineer of this substation presented current distribution status from 230 kV Main Substation to Ayeyawady Region. And then Director General and Deputy Director General of DPTSC made additional explanation. Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing discussed about it and Union Minister instructed that MOEE is trying to generate more electricity to fulfill demand in Ayeyawady Region so MOEE has to manage the distribution process so that to reduce electricity loss and needs to declare system break down and maintain it in time.
And then, Union Minister and his delegation also inspected No.(5) Fertilizer Factory in Kangyidauk Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region.
And then, Plant Manager of this factory presented the current status of production and distribution of Urea Fertilizer and U Aung Myint, Managing Director of MPE also explained. On their explanation, Union Minister gave instruction to take care for safety in Fertilizer Plant, to pack systematically with specific qualification, to sell with reasonable prices to the people, to reduce fertilizer wastage and run efficiently.
This Fertilizer Plant is located in Oe Bo village, Kangyidauk Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region. This plant has a current production capacity of 350 tons per day by using natural gas from Naungdon Oil Field. MPE sells these fertilizers to the people.
In the afternoon, Union Minister and his delegation also inspected No.(2) Liquefied Petroleum Plant in Naungdon and No.(3) Liquefied Petroleum Plant which has been moved from Kyunchaung. U Maung Maung Oo, Plant Manager presented the current status of these plants. U Aung Myint, Managing Director of MPE made additional explanation. Union Minister instructed to distribute LPG as soon as possible due to:
No. (2) liquefied Petroleum Plant Gas has a production capacity of 12 tons per day by using natural gas from Maubin and Naungdon Oil Field. After completion of No.(3) LPG Plant, this plant will totally produce 20 tons per day so that additional liquefied petroleum will produce and sell to the people.
