On 1st June, Dr. Tun Naing, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, accompanied by Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo and officials from Department of Power Transmission and System Control and Electricity Supply Enterprise arrived at 56.1 kWP Mini Grid Solar Plant that is being implemented by Rural Development Department from Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Dee Doke Village, Satpyarkyin Tract, Meiktila Township, Meiktila District.
The officials from Rural Development Department explained about the generation conditions of solar plant and Deputy Minister raised questions and inspected the work performance using electricity by local people.
Next, Dr. Tun Naing and entourage inspected the land where a new 132 kV primary station will be implemented near Tae-pin-tel village, Kyaukpadaung Township and gave necessary instruction to the officials.
Afterwards, Dr. Tun Naing attended the coordination meeting with Divisional Engineers from Mandalay Region at the head office of MESC. In the meeting, Deputy Minister instructed that when Department of Power Transmission and System Control is making plan to implement 230 kV Daung Ywae primary station in Amarapura Township, MESC needs to consider for getting electricity plans from that station in order to promote distributing electricity in Mandalay Region.
Then, Project Director (North) of DPTSC clarified the implementation process and ongoing schemes of 230 kV Daung Ywae primary station and planning tasks based on the budget year and Dr. Tun Naing gave instructions for projects to be operated.
And then, Deputy Director General (Power System) reported the plans to extend transformers year by year to be load balance of primary stations in Mandalay. Then, Acting President U Toe Aung, Acting Chief Executive Director and departmental heads presented detail plans for getting electricity via 230 kV Daung Ywae primary station and work progressions in Mandalay Region and Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo gave comments concerned with the needs of work.
Finally, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing advised about on technique for future station and transmission lines.
