                   H.E. Union Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing received H.E. Mr. Joao Freitas de Camara, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at 3:00 PM on 22 October 2019 at Minister’s parlour.

          During the meeting, they discussed the matters relating to the sharing Myanmar’s experience to develop in electricity and energy sector, the increasing investment of international companies in Myanmar’s future electricity and energy sector, experience of gradually changing from own enterprises to privatizing state in the future, the opportunities and challenges facing in onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration and production works, the generation status from renewable energy according to the generation mix and the investment status in the infrastructure of the natural gas and electricity sector.

          Dr. Tun Naing, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, permanent secretary U Tin Maung Oo, departmental heads and responsible persons from Embassy of Timor-Leste in Myanmar also attended to this meeting.
