Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing (Energy) accompanied by responsible persons inspected liquefied natural gas stations which import and distribute LPG from private sector and Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise on 29th November , 2019 in Mandalay Region.
Firstly, Deputy Minister (Energy) and his colleague arrived liquefied natural gas station from Aara Trading Co., Ltd. which possess LPG Import and distribution License (B). Station manager presented the present condition of LPG Import and distribution. On his explanation, Deputy Minister (Energy) gave instructions that,
And then, Deputy Minister (Energy) and his colleague arrived LPG station (Mandalay) under Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise and the responsible persons presented the present status of import and distribution for LPG and continuation activities. Deputy Minister inspected around the LNG station (Mandalay).
LPG station (Mandalay) distributed 13 tons of LPG per month used for households, industrial works, training schools, organizations and departments in Mandalay Region.
After that, Deputy Minister and his members arrived LPG Station from Sogo Aung Co., Ltd which possess LPG Import and distribution License (B).Station manager presented the present condition of LPG import and distribution. On his explanation, Deputy Minister (Energy) gave instructions that should be followed the terms and conditions of license only by MPE and needs to the works.
Myanma petrochemical Enterprise enacted Law, rules and regulations to develop LPG works in local according to law. There are seven types of LPG import and distribution license and permitted total 703 LPG License. Local LPG requirement was supplied by local production and import by shipment and border trade.
