H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE accompanied by Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo and responsible persons of Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation inspected 66 kV University substation in Kamayut, 66 kV MRTV-3 substation, Kamayut Township Electrical Manager Office, 66 kV U Wisara (GIS) substation and Material Planning Department (Yangon) in Yangon Division on 24^th March, 2018 in the morning.

          First, Union Minister and his companions arrived to 66 kV Yangon University substation and inspected Switch Yard and condition of distribution in Control Room. General Manager (Distribution) of YESC and Executive Engineer for this substation presented the status of distribution of electricity from substation. And then, Deputy Minister discussed on their explanation and Union Minister instructed the needs of work.

          In 66 kV Yangon University substation, 66/11- 6.6 kV, (30)MVA Transformer is installed and it distributes Electricity to the campus of Yangon University, Higher Education Department, No.(2), No.(9) and No.(10) Quarters in Kamayut.

          And then, Union Minister and his companions arrived to Kamayut Township Electrical Manager Office. In meeting room, the General Manager (Distribution) of YESC explained the status of renovation of substations. And Township Electrical Manager explained power consumption and distribution in Kamayut and the chairman of YESC added to his explanation. And then, Deputy Minister discussed on their explanation and Union Minister instructed the needs to take care of.

          And then, Union Minister and his party arrived to 66 kV MRTV-3 substation and inspected the electricity distribution to Kamayut, Sanchaung, Kyimyindaing and instructed the needs of work.

          And then, Union Minister and his companions arrived to 66 kV GIS substation and inspected the electricity distribution to Kamayut, Sanchaung, Bahan. And then, inspected the distribution materials of substation and transmission line in Material Planning Department (Yangon). Union Minister instructed to systematically issue and use for construction materials without loss.

          Eventually, when Union Minister and his companions arrived to Power System Protection and Testing Section of DPTSC, responsible persons explained about the testing of new and old meters, Transformers, Switch Bays, Control Panels and Protection Relays for transmission. Deputy Minister discussed on their explanation and Union Minister gave necessary instruction.
