-  Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing accompanied by Deputy Minister H.E. Dr. Tun Naing and responsible persons arrived at North District substation, Insein Township, Yangon for the interest of the public on reduction of electrical shortage, reduction of losing electricity, stability of voltage system and satisfying usage of electricity .

-  Responsible persons explained about the status of work performance to get full electricity, reduction of line fault, electricity distribution and reduction of electrical shortage in North District. The additional explanation was made by chairman, YESC, and Deputy Minister H.E. Dr. Tun Naing.

-  Union Minister instructed to make plan for reduction of electrical shortage, to emphasize for increasing in income of State and Ministry to advance arrangement on expect demand electricity, to be used with fully voltage on safety electricity and then fulfilled the needs of works.

-  North District is the widest area in 4 Districts in Yangon Electricity distributes by underground transmission lines (30)miles, high voltage sky transmission lines (1738)miles, 33 kV transmission lines (66) lines, 66 kV transmission lines (3)lines, 230 kV substation (6) station and use of electricity in the district is (592) MW.

-  Installation of Auto Recloser, reform of Jumper Connection, exchange of old insulator and cutting trees for reduction of electrical shortage are conducting there.

-  And then, additional installation up to (160) MVA voltage in (8) Townships is completed in 2017-2018 financial years.

-  About fault location system of (33) kV transmission line was explained by responsible persons from company.

-  Union Minister discussed on the needs and inspected the materials used for work, the status of electricity distribution of (33) kV Maungdaga-Hmawbi Lines and (33) kV ​ Maungdaga –Kyetphyukan line.

-  And then, Union Minister and his companions arrived at Maungdaga substation under DPTSC and inspected the status of (155) MVA new transformer installing in Switchyard and electricity distribution control room.

-  And then, Union Minister presented at ABB licensed products launching ceremony. It was made in Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgear Panel Factory of Asia General Electric Co., Ltd. in Shwethanlwin Industry Zone, Hlaingthayar Township in the afternoon.

-  In Commemorate Speech, H.E. said that he is proud for endeavors to keep abreast with international intend with technically sustainable improvement of switchgear, and panel product of Asia General Electric Co., Ltd.

-  International Standard of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgear Panel Product will be produced in local by guidance of ABB, production of Medium Voltage Switchgear type unit safe as ABB License cooperate with Asia General Electric Co., Ltd. and ABB donated to training center to MOEE, somewhere providing Asia General Electric Co., Ltd. will be successful not only local but also international market in technical development sector of state. H.E. urged Asia General Electric Co., to endeavor valiantly for enhancement of electricity technical level of Myanmar in the future.

-  And then, Union Minister received Medium Voltage Switchgear type Uni Safe offered by Asia General Electric Co., Ltd. and gave the congratulate record and inspected in the factory.
