          The meeting regarding to the projects implementing by Electricity Supply Enterprise, Ministry of Electricity and Energy was held on 9:00 AM of September 5, 2018 at the meeting room, Office (27).

         Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing, Deputy Minister Dr Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, Chairmen from corporations, Director Generals from Departments, Managing Directors from Enterprises and Distribution Engineers from States and Divisions attended this meeting.

          Firstly, H.E. delivered an opening speech that Ministry of Electricity and Energy can get achievements in a certain time by normally operating our doing projects, direction and objectives, coordination and cooperating with other departments by national policy. When operating projects by our ministry, it must operate to equally develop according to regions. The electricity plays a pivotal role for national development. Developing in electricity sector is the main basic reason for all-round development. It is needed to apply and operate by using shortly and quickly getting methods for the availability of electricity. It must be operated with accountability and responsibility in accordance with legal procedures because our ministry is directly contacted with public. It needs to reduce red tape system as possible as and to operate without burden by rules and regulations. Public must know MOEE's operations and MOEE needs to keep tabs on and operate people's requirements in time. In electricity generation and distribution portion, electricity losses concern with all, so it must be operated generation power to be better than current situation by analyzing technical week points, losses and ability. It is needed to check and maintain the requirements by going and ascertaining to respective township offices and substations. And, State and Regional electrical engineers need to actively cooperate in performing National Electrical Plan (NEP). It is surely needed to cooperate in land issues, main issues, in connecting power transmission line to get electricity within rural area. It is needed to build call centers to communicate and operate if local people have burden and requirements on electricity. It is needed to bear staffs who expert in electrical field to supply Rural Getting Electricity Committee. Then, H.E. said that now, it is attempted for national development by sacrifice and benevolence with our academic. And H.E. admonished that it is attempted and operated to distribute electricity to be safely used with suitable cost, good servicing and full quality for public.

          Then, State and Regional electrical engineers reported to the status of getting and distribution electricity within their regions, operating and finishing status of projects consisting in 2018-2019 mini budget, the highest load of year by year, future plans and current performance for preventing natural disasters. Then Managing Director, U Saw Win Maung from Electricity Supply Enterprise made addition explanation about the operations of States and Regions.

          And then, Permanent Secretary, U Tin Maung Oo reported to the status of electricity shortage. Director General, U Aye Kyaw from Department of Electric Power Transmission and System Control reported to the plans for coming 230kV and 500kV power transmission lines and substation projects. Then, H.E. U Win Khaing delivered on comments of Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing  for projects to be operated by states and regions that state and regional electrical engineers have to know not only electricity distribution within own region but also implementation the national policy. And it is needed to lead on behalf of Ministry in ongoing power transmission lines and substation projects operating within state and region. It is to be operated to develop electrical sector in respective region by Electrical engineers of States and Regions because future plans of our ministry has been explained in the meeting. It is needed to help and give advice for requirements of electrical sector to States and Regions Government Agencies. And, it has already shown about the projects to develop electrification ratio, so it is needed to operate and accomplish that projects. And H.E. delivered that it is needed to review natural disasters happened every year and make plans to prevent damage.
