            The coordination meeting for the implementation to be carried on the initial project and land lease of Dawei Special Economic Zone was held at meeting room of Ministry of Electricity and Energy in Nay Pyi Taw on 12 September.

          The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy Dr. Tun Naing, the Dawei SEZ Management Committee’s Chairman, the Vice Chairman Dr. Myint Sann, Secretary Dr. Tin Htoo Naing and members, Directors for Dawei Special Economic Zone Development Co., Ltd. (Special Purpose Vehicle-SPV) Myanmar, legal support team under Dawei SEZ Management Committee and external legal counsel of SCM Legal.

            The external legal counsel and legal support team explained concerned with the procedures and the process of the implementation to be carried on and land lease. They were discussed and approved by Dawei SEZ Management Committee.

            In conclusion, Dr. Tun Naing expressed words of thanks to all for helping dynamically with new ideas and urged to support for promoting the project in the future too.
