          Closing Ceremony of Refresher Training Course No. (1/2018) for staff officers (Financial/ Accounts) was held at Yadanar Hall ,Office No. (27), MOEE,  on 24 ^th August, 2018 in the morning (09:00)hr.

          In this ceremony, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary  U Tin Maung Oo, Chairmen, Director Generals, Managing Directors, Departmental Heads, Instructors and trainees from Corporations, Departments and Enterprises were presented.

Firstly, Deputy Minister gave an opening address that;

• A work is measured today based on  evaluation result concerning assigned forecast
• It is essential to become knowledge based good servants to go to the result based format
• Good servant means a person who loyal on country and the citizens, further than full of knowledge and technique
• The aim of opening this training is to use financial management rules (35/2017) of Myanmar effectively 
• To know the financial and account system of Department and Enterprise
• To be able to give comments on the project proposals for foreign investment by using assessment analysis methods with financial rules and regulations
• To emerge qualified  financial/ account officers
• To understand financial rules and regulations so that to manage public’s finances without losses
• In this training, totally 22 subjects were instructed
• Not only financial rules and regulations,but also the calculation of salary and pension financial theories,as well as management method for financial and economic which related to work were instructed
• Besides, working performances, working sequence, audit method, reporting method, action procedures for finding were instructed by  the teacher from Union Auditor General Office
• Requirements for organizations to lend money were instructed by International Finance Corporation
• The knowledge with regard to Power Purchase Agreements, guarantee issues, the knowledge for financial of natural gas, hydropower and renewable energy project  were  instructed by Bangkok Bank
• The reasons of project failure and the facts to be carried out by project leader were discussed by experts from Myanmar Project Management Center
• The features of projects constructed were discussed by directors from related departments of MOEE base their experiences
• The trainees have gone  to Palaung Hydropower Plant, Tha Pyae Wa primary substation, Kan Kaung 500kV substation project and Yeywa Hydropower Plant as site visit

Deputy Minister seriously instructed that;

• To apply experiences from training effectively in work and study ahead
• The subjects from training is useful for not only present position but also future position
• To try the best to be reliable moral integrity and a comprehensive staff for MOEE and the nation

          And then , the three outstanding trainees presented Power Point based on the knowledge getting from this training. Deputy Minister awarded the prizes to the outstanding trainees and permanent secretary awarded certificates of honor to the instructors and training certificates to the trainees.

          Eventually, Deputy Minister took a photo together with Chairmen, Director Generals and Managing Directors, Departmental Heads, instructors and trainees.
