          H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE and his delegation attended opening ceremony for celebrating 36^th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Energy and other related meetings in Singapore on 29^th October, 2018 in the morning. In this opening ceremony, H.E. Mr. Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Trade and Industry in Singapore delivered an opening address.

          As morning agenda, when relative organization reported on Energy Resilience and Innovation, Clean Energy Transformation, Progress of discussion on 35^th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation , Discussion of ASEAN high-ranking officials meeting, Progress of Works in ASEAN Petroleum Council and Progress of Heads of Power Utilities/Authorities. Related Ministers from ASEAN Countries and responsible persons discussed on them. And then they co-ordinated on the Joint Ministerial Statement of 36^th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting.

           As afternoon agenda, Union Minister and his delegation also attended ASEAN+3 Energy Meeting and Energy Meeting between ASEAN Energy Ministerial Meeting and Eastern Asia Summit Nations.

          And then, Union Minister and his delegations met and discussed with H.E. Dr.Khammany Inthirath, Minister for Ministry of Energy, Laos and his delegation, and H.E. Mr. Siri Jirapongphan, Minister for Ministry of Energy, Thailand and his delegation about the cooperation in electricity and energy sector between two countries. In the evening, Union Minister and his delegation attended dinner honoring 36^th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting and ceremony for ASEAN Energy Awards.

          Union Minister and his delegation also met with Mr. Hidetoshi Nishimura, President for Energy Research Institute of ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and his delegation and discussed about future cooperation in electricity and energy sector.    

          Ministers for Ministry of Energy from ASEAN countries, ASEAN Secretarial Office, Ministers from ASEAN and other partner countries Central Department of ASEAN Energy, International Energy Agency, Organizations of International Renewable Energy and Responsible persons of Energy Research Institute of ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) attended to these meetings.
