          The Work Permit Agreement Signing Ceremony between Electric Power Generation Enterprise and Golden Green Energy Co.,Ltd to make Rehabilitation, Joint-Operation, Maintenance and Management (ROMM) for Hlawga Power Plant so that can operate in full efficiency was held on 30^th, November 2018 in the morning 9:00AM at meeting hall, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Nay Pyi Taw.

          In this ceremony, Union Minister U Win Khaing, Deputy Minister Dr.Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary, Departmental Heads, Chief Executive Officer and responsible persons from Golden Green Energy Co.,Ltd were presented.

          Union Minister U Win Khaing delivered an opening address as follows;

• Ministry of Electricity and Energy has conducted and emphasized rehabilitation for substations and low efficiency power plants, construction of new power plant, extension of transmission lines and substations,so that to supply full power according to annual requirements.
• Hlawga Power Plant is essential one among power plants in Yangon Region and was started commercial operation since 1995, its life is about 22 years. It has low efficiency due to generate only average 70 MW although its Installed capacity is 154 MW, therefore it will need rehabilitation.
• In order to produce full power, the proposals of local and foreign companies were submitted to the Ministry. Our Ministry performed detailed analysis on these proposals.The proposal of Golden Green Energy Co.,Ltd is the lowest cost per unit and its information is the most comprehensive and firm.

• General Electric (GE) that is the original manufacturer based on US will be prepared the Gas Turbine in collaboration with this company .MOEE  trust that they will consume gas and generate power in accord with the guarantee  during the contract year (10 years). Therefore MOEE submitted to the Union Government. After approval, Golden Green Energy Co.,ltd was chosen.
• By rehabilitation, it will be able to produce more power 336,000 kWhr per day and support the nation requirement in a short time.It will be completed before the summer of 2019.
• Before the company signed a contract, MOEE issued letter of acceptance on 20^th June, 2018 to carry out the repair work prior.
• In accordance with the term of the contract, this company must be carried out to start commercial operation. The first phase 59 MW will be generated through 19-1-2019 and the second phase of the 84 MW on 14-9-2019.

          In conclusion, the company will operate with  improvement capacity of all machines by the ROMM System within contract years(10 years) so that  it can be long term use of machine, produce more electricity as well as benefit for state and local people in order to use 2% of the company’s profit as CSR fund  .

          Next, U Khin Maung Win, Managing Director of EPGE and U Khaing Oo, CEO of Golden Green Energy Co.,Ltd signed and exchanged the contract and they took a time for photo section.
