Deputy Minister (Energy) for Ministry of Electricity and Energy Dr Tun Naing and responsible persons inspected Petroleum Product Storage and Distribution Depot (Grade B) of Myanma Petroleum Product Enterprise in Thaton in Mon State on 12 November in the morning.
Deputy Minister and his party first visited above place and Depot officials explained the works of the Storage, Distribution Division, private fuel and lubricant sale stations in Thaton District. Deputy Minister commented on taking measures to prevent the unauthorized and illegal sale of fuel and lubricants, systematically managing and maintaining state-own fuel, lubricants, vehicles and put in place fire prevention procedures.
Afterwards, the Deputy Minister inspected the Bowser Filling Station Point, above ground and underground fuel and lubricant storage tanks and depot own vehicles in the petroleum product storage and distribution depot.
Formerly, Petroleum Product Storage and Distribution Depot (Grade B) in Thaton delivered fuels from Danidaw Main Fuel Terminal Grade (A) by trains and distributed them to petrol stations in Hpa-An and departmental offices in Thaton District via Thaton Section.
