          Dr Tun Naing, Deputy Minister for MOEE and Department Head inspected the Phyu Chaung Hydropower Plant which built on Phyu Chaung about 7 miles Southwest of Phyu, at 29^th  Sep 2019.

          Firstly, Deputy Minister inspected the situation of repairing the damage engine No.1. Manager of Hydropower Plant and Department Head explained about the parts of damaged electric engine and the replacement situation. Deputy Minister instructed to check the electric machine regularly, to perform well for the electric safety and fully generation, to perform well for plant sustainability, to perform in accordance with the standard when replacing engine parts careness and to perform carefully for safety.

          The total installed capacity of the Phyu chaung Hydropower plant which located on Phyu Chaung is 40 MW (2×20 MW). At 23^th Aug 2019, stator winding of electric engine No.1 damaged and stopped. Department Staffs are trying hard for systematic installation of damaged engine parts and to get the generating process as soon as possible. Now No.2 power generator is being produced 20 MW full loads connect with national Grid.
