Electric Utility Leadership Seminar held by Ministry of Electricity and Energy and Latitude Capital Company based in American on the morning of 27^th April, 2018 at Hilton Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw.

                 In this seminar, His Excellency Union Minister U Win Khaing , Deputy Minister Dr.Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, Mr.Frank Perez from Latitude Capital Company, departmental heads for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, responsible persons and invited guests were attended.

                 In this seminar, Union Minister said that

-     firstly, as participants can share international experience for Electric Utility Leadership in this seminar therefore he is so much thankful to those who held the seminar .

-     And he fully believes that attended persons will discuss interestingly.

-     According to Ministry’s Objective, “Reliable Affordable and Sustainable Electricity”, when we attempt for supply fully and stably Nation’s future Electricity and Energy Requirements, it is so important to get high management quality of leadership.

-     For fully supply future market requirements, Ministry of Electricity and Energy will discover resources to generate electricity by modern technologies, construct national grid by High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) technology and construct Smart Grid Distribution System.

-     As per management point of view, the potential of electrification of production and distribution will serve the hunger of public power consumption and so Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to power projects will be the one of Ministry of Electricity and Energy’s plan to be implemented.

-     According to collaboration within regions, we are discussing with neighboring countries for Electricity trading process.

-     Nowadays, Ministry of Electricity and Energy has been facing so many challenges while attempting and implementing for national development.

-     Main objectives and duties of Ministry of Electricity and Energy are for supply safe and qualify electricity to public.

-     For implementing these objectives, it is important to be flexible with Institution Mechanism and to consider and solve the weaknesses accurately.

-     Ministry of Electricity and Energy will fully implement its objectives by experiences, expert in technology, accurate leadership and effective management by concluding Wind of Changes.

                 Eventually, H.E. U Win Khaing said to operate to be developed Electricity and Energy aspect by Electric Utility Leadership result and good procedures by sharing international experiences of participants, studying and concluding international case studies.
