            Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing and Departmental heads inspected 230 kV war-ta-yar main substations, at Shwepyitha Township, Yangon Region under Department of Power Transmission and Supply Control on 9^th March, 2019 in the morning.

            Firstly, Substation Managers reported Electrical substation information and the conditions of power receiving, sending and distributing. Then Project Director reported about the condition of 230 kV war-ta-yar(Ywama-Hlaing tharyar) Transmission Line and the constructions of increasing substation. On explanation, Union Minister instructed that due to Shwe-Pyi-thar Township is the main industrial zone in business of the country, it needs electrical shut down not to occur for factories and workshops, to install substation equipment by using materials in good quality, substation and sustainability in order to reduce electrical shut down to upgrade continuously substation equipment and transmission lines and inspected within the substation.

            And then, Union Minister and Party arrived 230 kV Anlon Substation and held meeting on arrangements for increasing electricity consumption.

            Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing , Deputy Minister Dr Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, YESC Chairman, Director General and Managing Directors from Department / Enterprise, Departmental Heads and Substation Managers were attend to Meeting.

First, Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing delivered an Opening Speech.

• To National Grid, to day generates 3586 MW from electric factory and have about 1548.23 MW Maximum electric consumption of Yangon Region. Due to consuming near half of the whole country, electric Sector of Yangon Region is main for MOEE.
• Yearly, for electric consumption of Yangon Region is increasing (15%), it is performing for electric not only generation but also distribution.
• Substations are important, for summer electric power shortage.
• To serve level Enhancements of the substation and Power Line that is expiring.
• To serve Level Enhancements of the full load power line, to decrease the electric power shortage, to decrease the electric power lost. 

         And then, Substation Managers in Yangon Region explained about the condition of power lines, Transformer install capacity and electric consumption, necessary plan for increasing load and DDG, (PSD) explained about the condition of current electricity distribution, plan that will continue by loan, load sharing for full load and expansion perform and DDG, (PTP) explained about the condition of the 230 kV and 500 kV Transmission Lines those will serve.

           And then, DYMD (EPGE) reported about the condition of progress electricity production, level enhancement to the electric machine in Yangon Region, level enhancement main Transformers in Hlawkhar, Ahlon, Ywama, Thaketa machinery, GM(YESC) explained about the condition of current electricity consumption, plan that will be performed to system improvement and expansion that will be performed to Transmission Line and Substation.

              Then, Deputy Minister Dr Tun Naing made additional explanation on the Technical requirement and Union Minister contributed necessaries.
