Deputy Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Tun Naing accompanied by Departmental responsible persons inspected Thanlyin Substation, Thaketa Power Plant and Load Dispatch Centre (Yangon) on 27^th September 2019.

          Firstly, Deputy Minister and companions arrived 230 kV Thanlyin Substation under Department of Power Transmission and System Control in the Thanlyin Township and inspected 230/33/11 kV, 100 MVA Transformer extension work. Deputy Minister gave instructions to be completed in time, to provide an early distribution electricity, to be attention on safety and to be nothing impact at the workplace.

          And then, Deputy Minister and companions arrived Thaketa gas-fired Power Plant and inspected the substation upgrading in the power plant with JICA loan. The manager of Power Plant and responsible persons presented the working status. Deputy Minister gave instructions to be completed the substation upgrading in time, to meet the standard quality for Substation equipment and to conduct without losses.

          After upgrading this substation, electricity users in Yangon will be able to reduce power shortages and will develop power voltage in distribution in the future.

        And then, Deputy Minister and companions arrived Load Dispatch Centre (Yangon) in Ahlone Township. Responsible person presented the Transmission, Distribution and controlling procedure in the country. Deputy Minister gave the requirement instructions. H.E also inspected the installation of new building and gave the instructions to be completed in time.
