H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE discussed  with H.E. Mr. Prof. Dr. Iza, Indonesia Ambassador for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, for enhancing cooperation in Electricity and Energy Sector between the two countries at Minister's Parlour , Nay Pyi Taw , in the afternoon (3:15)PM.

          Union Minister told that MOEE takes  much proud for him to be appointed as Ambassador for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the main cooperative sector between Myanmar and Indonesia is oil and gas sector, at present situation, Gold Petro Company from Indonesia has been implementing for enhancing of oil production in Chauk and Yenanchaung oil field  and achieving, MOEE thanks for that good performance of Gold Petro company.

          And then, Union Minister also discussed that MOEE wants to invite Indonesia companies for more investment in Myanmar and there will be many opportunities to invest not only in energy sector but also in electricity sector.

          Ambassador told that he comes  to discuss for enhancing cooperation in business between the two countries, Indonesia companies would like to invest in Myanmar's electricity and energy sector, he said thankful to receive his delegation         and   he would be enhance to cooperate between the two countries.

          In this meeting, Dr. Tun Naing , Deputy Minister for MOEE , U Tin Maung Oo , Permanent Secretary, and departmental heads were presented.
