H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE received H.E. Mr. Shahidul Islan, BIMETEC Secretary General and his delegation at (15:00) pm on 6th November, 2018 at Office No (27), MOEE in Nay Pyi Taw.

- The signing ceremony for Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between Electric Power Generation Enterprise under Ministry of Electricity and Energy and Powergen Kyaukse Company limited was held on 6th November, 2018 in the evening ,06:00 pm , at Hilton Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw.

   Signing Ceremony for Agreement between Myanmar Engineering Council and China Science and Technology Organization was held at the Royal ACE Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw, on 5th November 2018 (11:00) am. To the ceremony, Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing for MOEE, Union Minister H.E. U Han Zaw for Ministry of Construction, Deputy Ministers , Permanent Secretaries , Science and Technology First Secretary Mr. Su Zhe, Myanmar Engineering Council Chairman Dr. Charlie Than,  Director of the Center for Professional Training & Services Ms. Xin Bing and invited guests attended.

  Ministry of Electricity and Energy  is cooperating with international company to improve production  of oil and gas in offshore and onshore blocks.  Inauguration ceremony of Sein Si Taw (1) in onshore block IOR-7 on  4th Nov, 2018 was held at onshore block IOR-7, Myanaung Township, Hinthada District, Ayeyawaddy Region.

   Coordination Meeting on Dawei SEZ Comprehensive Development was held on 31st October in the Ministry of Electricity & Energy meeting hall in Naypyitaw and was headed by Dr.Tun Naing, Chairman of Dawei Special Economics Management Committee, attended DSEZ MC members and Board of Directors and representatives from FERD of Myanmar, NEDA of Thailand and JBIC, JICA and JETRO of Japan and officials.  It was expressed by Chairman Dr.Tun Naing that he is much pleased to meet all of Board of Directors from SPV.
