                   Union Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, H.E. U Win Khaing received H.E. Riikka Laatu, Ambassador of Finland to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at 1:00 PM on 12^th September 2019 at Minister’s parlour.

          During the meeting, they discussed  matters such as to start the negotiations between two countries over the procedures will be aided by Finland Government on plans to be cooperated by Finland for the development in the sectors of efficient electricity generation, transmission and supply and renewable energy according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 30^th July 2018 between Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Myanmar and Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, Finland to cooperate in the sector of energy and about the visit of the business representatives would leave by Deputy Minister for  Department for External Economic Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finland to Myanmar for these procedures and long-term plan for the energy resources of the  electricity and energy sector.

          In this meeting, Deputy Ministry Dr. Tun Naing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung OO and departmental heads were presented.
