Ministry of Electricity and Energy hold Coordination Meeting for review of implementation status for 2018-2019 financial year and construction schedule for 2019-2020 financial year of MOGE

MOEE held coordination meeting for review of implementation status for 2018-2019 fiscal year and construction schedule for 2019-2020 fiscal year of Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise at 8:30 AM on 19th October 2019 in Yadanar Hall, office No.27, Ministry of Electricity and Energy.
In this meeting, Union Minister U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, Director Generals and Oil and Gas Planning Department and Managing Directors for Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise, Departmental Heads, Oil Field Commander of Police, Oil Field General Managers, General Managers and Chief Research from offshore base camp and Motor Vehicle Natural Gas Branch were presented.
Firstly, Union Minister U Win Khaing delivered on opening address that,
- Ministry want to review of implementation status for 2018-2019 fiscal year and discuss about construction schedule for 2019-2020 fiscal year,
- Need to be implement with future plan so that to develop oil production,
- After quickly studying for 3 D Seismic measuring results, we must to start drilling work,
- To be perform capacity development process for human resources by performing geology and geophysical survey for oil and natural gas exploration.
- In well digging work, MOEE must be tried direction well digging from ordinary vertical well digging,
- To be implement for oil and natural gas production development by using Enhanced Oil Recovery(EOR) technology,
- To be maintain property oil and natural gas deposits, to be maintain and construct oil and gas pipe lines according to international standard,
- To be organize pipe line inspection teams and must be monitor pipe line leakage according to standard operation procedure (SOP) and need to be collect skillful staffs, machineries and materials.
- does not want to stop gas transmission due to pipe line failure and we encourage you to take with great care because it can suffer for the country,
- In cooperation with MOGE’s staffs and foreign technicians from companies to get high performance,
- only then, it will be smooth when we will carry out the projects,
- for 2019-2020 financial year, want to be carried out tendering processes systematically and in time with regard to follow tender’s terms and conditions, financial rules and regulations,
- urge you to be cautious and secure pipe stations and gas stations and to take fire protection and safety for oilfields,
- to save the most of oil field costs and don’t spend unnecessary cost and would like to urge that let’s all together work hard for increasing productivity of oil and gas.
And then, oilfield general managers and departmental responsible persons presented completion status of 2018-2019 financial year’s works/projects and actions plans for the woks of 2019-2020 financial year. By continuity, the responsible persons presented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) situation in oilfields and law, rules and regulation for energy sector and oilfield commander of police submitted acting for the rule of law and safety for oilfields.
Managing Director for Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise and Director General for Oil and Gas Planning Department explained in brief and Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing discussed on their explanation and Union Minister reviewed, commanded the need.
Union Minister U Win Khaing awarded honourable certificates to staffs by working successfully and safely intime in Kanpauk – Myingkalay- Yangon 20 inches gas pipe line repair work and drilling and digging well No. (170) in Pyay oilfield.
