Deputy Minister Dr.Tun Naing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy accompanied by responsible persons from Department of Electric Power Transmission and System Control and Electricity Supply Enterprise inspected 132kV Kalaw Substation in Shan(South) State on 20th October 2018. In the inspection, Executive Engineer of this substation presented current situation of primary substation and then Deputy Minister gave comments such as to clean, strong and fit the transmission lines and substations, to clear electric hazard, to reduce electric shortage and to stable voltage and then inspected around the substation.

        1.56 MW Gas Engine (64) Nos MTU type, made in Germany which will be installed and used at Gas Generator Power factory with the aim to produce electrify in summer, 2019 and related materials were transporting from Yangon port to site  starting on 18-10-2018 (08:00) pm. H.E. Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, DG U Aye Kyaw (DPTSC), MD U Saw Win Maung (ESE) and delegations  observed Gas Engines getting as the first batch to Nay Pyi Taw, near Bawgathiri bus station, Pyinmana Avoid City Street, milestone No.(3/5), on 19th  October (08:00)am.

Delegation led by Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy attended the Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference hosted by National Energy Administration of China –NEA on October 18, 2018 at 09:00 a.m. in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.

Union Minister H.E. U Win Khaing accompanied by Managing Director U Khin Maung Win, Electric Power Generation and Enterprise, left by Myanmar airway for China on 17-10-2018, at(08:00)hr to attend the Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference that would be held on 18-10-2018 in Suzhou, China.

     A ceremony regarding achieving electricity at Tagaung Area, Thabeikkyin Township, Pyin Oo Lwin District was held at 14th Oct, 2018 (10:00)am.           H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for MOEE, Dr. Khin Maung Htay, Deputy Speaker of Mandalay Region Hluttaw, H.E. Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Pyithu Hluttaw and Amyothar  Hluttaw Representatives, Government Ministers of Mandalay Region, Departmental Heads of MOEE, Mr. Kojun NAKASHIMA, Myanmar Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and members of JICA, Local people and Special Guests were attended to the Ceremony.
