Distributing LPG Cylinders to Households at Shantae tract LPG Shop
   With the aims to reduce electricity demand, substitute the usage of woods in order to reduce deforestation and supply public health with purified cooking, MOEE is undertaking pilot projects of using LPG throughout the entire nation. Because of that, Union Minister U Win Khaing, accompanied by Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing and officials concerned met with local people at Shantae tract LPG Shop under MPE (Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise) in Meihtila District, Mandalay Region.

Union Minister U Win Khaing Visits Saetawgyi Power Plant
     In order to meet the electricity demand that would have been increasing yearly, MOEE is making efforts with the assistance of the Union Budget and international loans in implementing the processes such as building new power plants, extending transmission lines and sub-stations and promoting power plants that have declined in capacity.

National Electrification Plan operated by World Bank Loan (US$ 310 million) to improve 55% of Electrification Ratio in 2021
H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing accompanied by responsible persons inspected Hitachi Soe Electric & Machinery Co.,Ltd jointed with Hitachi Co.,Ltd from Japan and located in industrial zone, Sourthen Dagon Township, Yangon, which is producing and testing 5389 transformers needed for 5080 villages as the first phase of National Electrification Plan operated by world bank loan. Chairman U Kyaw Min Tun from Hitachi Soe Electric & Macinery Co.Ltd and Managing Director Mr. Katsutoshi Inagaki explained and reported, then H.E. Union Minister pointed out the needs of works.
