H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing inspects 230 kV Hlaingtharya - Kyaiklat Transmission Line, 230/66/11 kV, 100 MVA Kyaiklat Substation and Data Center of Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise
H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, accompanied by Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo and responsible persons inspected Tower No.(72) of construction site of 230 kV Hlaingtharya - Kyaiklat Transmission Line (52.26) miles in Twantay Township today in the morning. And then Union Minister and his delegation also inspected machinery and spare parts at construction area and encouraged the performers making inquiry he wants to know.

UMFCCI, MIA Hold Meeting on Electricity and Energy Sector
THE Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce (UMFCCI) and the Myanmar Industries Association(MIA)held a coordination meeting on the electricity and energy sector yesterday in UMFCCI, Yangon.                                           H.E.Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing said the current electricity production of 3,000 MW was slated to be increased by another 3,000 MW in three years. Many years have passed without the adequate supply of electricity, and thus, plans were underway to increase its production.

H.E Union Minister U Win Khaing for Ministry of Electricity and Energy oversees developmental tasks in Myeik
UNION  Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing together with Chief Minister of Taninthayi Region Dr.Le Le Maw, Deputy Minister Dr.Tun Naing, regional ministers, Director Generals from the ministry and departmental officials inspected developmental tasks in Myeik on 17 February.         The Union Minister and party looked into construction of Htonkha-Thephyu-Maw-taung road section which is about 70 mile long and is being built by The Myeik Public Corporation through BOT system in Taninthayi Township. The Union Minister was briefed about the work progress by Chairman of The Myeik Public Corporation U Hla Than.
