Coordination Meeting for Consulting Services for Development of Electricity sector was held on 1st March, 2019 (08:00)hr at the Meeting Room of Office No. (27), Ministry of  Electricity & Energy.           H.E. Union Minister U Win Khaing, H.E. Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo, Departmental Heads, Consultants  and Responsible Persons of Respective Organizations for Consulting Services were presented.

  By coordination with Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the French Embassy and Business France, Symposium on Energy Sector in Myanmar was held on 21 March from 8:00am to 19:00pm at M Gallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.

By coordination with Ministry of Electricity and Energy and Yangon Regional Government, Yagon Electricity Supply Corporation (YESC) has constructed 11 kV Transmission Line (8640'), 400 V Transmission Line (3920') and a 11-6.6/0.4 kV 160 kVA Transformer in order to access electricity in Kyae Min Kone Aung Myay Thu Kha Pagoda, Nat Sin Kone Village, Kawhmu Township, Yangon Region. Therefore, the ceremony for getting electricity was held on 18 February in the morning at above-mentioned place.

MOEE held  3rd Hta Ma Nae Festival  at Office No.27, Nay Pyi Taw in the evening of 18th February, 2019 to develop unity and cooperation among civil servants. In this festival, 8 teams from all departments and enterprises competed in. Union Minister, Deputy Minister and Departmental Heads attended this festival and awarded to the winners. 

The opening ceremony of LPG Safety Training Course No.2 conducted by Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, was held at 2:30 PM on 17th February, 2019 at No.1 Refinery (Thanlyin), Yangon Region for systematically and safely operating Liquefied Petroleum Gas – LPG in importing, storing, distributing and selling.
