Opening Ceremony of 66 /11-6.6 kV, 2 x 20 MVA (GIS) Substation in South Okkalapa Township and 66/11 kV, 2 x 20 MVA (GIS) Substation in Lanmadaw Township implemented by YESC to increase electricity distribution in Yangon Region was held on February 17, 2019 (07:30 am) at this substations.

U Win Khaing  for Ministry of Electricity and Energy and his party left  to Laos and attended 2nd Ministerial Level Meeting of working  committee for electricity sector cooperation between Laos and the Republic of the Union of  Myanmar on 14th Feburary, 2019 at 10:00 am. They were seen off at the Yangon International airport by Laos first Secretary Mr. Somphay VONGMAHACHACK and U Maung Maung Latt, Chairman of Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation and responsible persons.

Opening ceremony of 66 kV Yarzagyo-Kalay-Kalewa power line 49.96 miles and 66/11 kV, 5 MVA Kalewa substation under Department of Power Transmission and System Control was held Kalewa substation in Sagaing Region on 10-2-2019 at 08:30am.
